Preparedness is no longer just an individual matter: it is now a priority of the European Union. Enkadenn turns these orientations into concrete steps, for everyone.
The EU Preparedness Union Strategy
In March 2025, the European Commission presented its Preparedness Union Strategy. It calls on every household to be able to be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours in a crisis, plans a preparedness day, and the inclusion of preparedness in school curricula.
🎯This is exactly Enkadenn's mission: making those recommendations simple, actionable and accessible — for households, businesses and public bodies.
The European systems
- 112 — the single emergency number, valid across the whole EU.
- EU-Alert / “Reverse-112” — mobile alerting, mandatory in every member state.
- EU Civil Protection Mechanism (ERCC, rescEU) — European solidarity when a crisis exceeds one country.
- Civil Protection Knowledge Network — the expert community sharing good practice.
Where we stand
Enkadenn is an independent project, complementary to these official systems and not affiliated with the European Union. We do not alert: we help people act, all year round, and we always point back to official sources.
